The 1200 Dichroic series fits hundreds of vehicle models with little or no vehicle modification necessary because of its compact design and unique bond-on mounting. Comes standard with a high performance 55 watt Dichroic bulb. The Dichroic bulb/reflector combination dissipates heat through the rear of the lamp housing. A Dichroic bulb combines the bulb and reflector as one unit. Available in either a cleardriving lens or an Ion Crystal driving lens. Exclusive Ion Crystal coating on the inside of the lens transforms white light to amber with very little loss of candle power.

Even smaller than the PIAA 1000 lamps, the 1200Series lights offer a more rounded cosmetic appeal and fit in an even larger number of vehicle applcations. The light beam is a special touring pattern that makes an extraordinarily effective ìback roadî auxiliary light. The beam pattern is wider than a conventional driving lamp and illuminates further down the lamp then a fog lamp. Powerful 55 watt dichroic reflection bulb provides big lamp lighting performance while reducing heat build up. The light can be mounted with the base plate up or down as the beam pattern is circular. Kit comes complete with 2 lights, wire harness, relay and switch.
